The Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens 

The Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens is spread across 240 acres at the heart of the Bangalore city. This famous botanical garden, which was laid by Haider Ali, was further beautified by Tipu Sultan. Later, the British gave the Lal Bagh a modern look. Read more 

Cubbon Park

In the heart of the ‘Garden City’ is a garden laid by Sir John Meade, well known as Cubbon Park. The park has around 68 varieties and 96 species with about 6000 plants. Many official and public buildings are located within and along its periphery. Read more 

Bannerghatta National Park

Some 22 kms from Bangalore, the Bannerghatta National Park is home to about 1500 animals including some 15 elephants. The Bannerghatta Zoo, Butterfly Park and the Snake Park are the highlights. Read more
